2014 Year1 Application

Welcome to the Dallas (Cedar Valley) Prefreshman Engineering Program Application Entry System.

This Application Entry System requires that you click on one of the buttons at the bottom of each page within 10 minutes. If you do not click on one of the buttons withing a 10 minute time period, the system will consider the session as "inactive" and will drop any data that you have entered on that page and your application. To prevent this, please make certain that you click on the "Continue Registration" button at the bottom of the page before 10 minutes have elasped. Do not be concerned if you have not yet completed entering data on a page as the next page will allow you to return by clicking on the "Edit Data" button at the bottom of the next page.

You will be asked to provide the following types of information:

  • General and contact information of the student that is applying
  • Contact information for the Parent/Guardian of the student
  • Emergency contact information for the student
  • School where the student is currently attending
  • Current grade level of the student

At the end of the application process, you will be prompted to print the required "Confirmation Page". If you are not connected to a printer or are not able to print the Confirmation Page, please do not apply online!

The PREP Office, University of Texas at San Antonio, provides data services for sites participating in TexPREP. With a few exceptions, you are entitled to be informed about the information U.T. San Antonio collects about you. Under Sections 552.021 and 552.023 of the Texas Government Code, you are entitled to receive and review this information. Under Section 559.004 of the Texas Government Code, you are entitled to have U.T. San Antonio correct information about you that is held by us and that is incorrect, in accordance with the procedures set forth in The University of Texas System Business Procedures Memorandum 32. The information that U.T. San Antonio collects will be retained and maintained as different types of information are kept for different periods of time.

Note: The PREP Application pages are secured with SSL encryption. When you use PREP's secure access areas, all information sent between your browser and PREP-USA.ORG is encrypted. PREP-USA.ORG uses 128 bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption, the among the highest levels of encryption currently available. This is a widely-used web technology that encrypts and decrypts a message for online transmission. However, you should be aware that there are some inherent risks associated with the transmission of information via the Internet, and with using SSL as the encryption mechanism. If you do not wish to use our online application, you can complete the paper application and send it directly to the PREP Office.
