NASA High School Aerospace Scholars

What is it?
The NASA High School Aerospace Scholars program is an interactive, online learning experience aimed at Texas students that are currently in their junior year in high school. Successful students compete for a 6-day residential summer experience at the NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston.

Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science

What is it?
The Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science (TAMS) is a residential program located at the University of North Texas in Denton that is focused on students who wish to pursue a career in mathematics, science, or engineering. The program admits up to 200 students every year from public and private high schools from across Texas. After two years (four semesters) at TAMS, students graduate with a high school diploma and about 60 college credits - which may be enough to start the college junior year at UNT or other universities.
