Eligibility and Application Requirements:
- Current high school sophomores and juniors
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Completed application must be accompanied by:
- Typed essay of 500 words maximum explaining the following:
- Why the applicant wants to participate in the CURIE program
- What she hopes to gain from the experience
- What interests her about engineering
- What thoughts she has about her future career
- Written recommendation from a math or science teacher or a high school counselor
- Official high school transcript
- High school profile
